Cecilia founded Hong Kong Foodie in 2011 to share her passion for food and Hong Kong with other curious travelers and foodies. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Cecilia has also worked and lived in the US, Japan and Singapore. She has traveled extensively to 34 countries, touring cities from Shangri-la to Siena, from Denver to Damascus, where she often mingles people from nearby neighborhoods and get them to introduce her to the local flavors.
Cecilia also brings a wealth of professional experience including management consulting, finance, print/online media as well as e-commerce. In her quest to understand local culture in her travels (and be able to order scrumptious local food), she speaks fluent Cantonese and English, conversational French, Italian, Japanese and Mandarin.
